Fight The Front Range Toll Road!

Ray Wells and a collection of anonymous investors are using 113-year-old legislation to ram a toll road down our throats on the Colorado plains.  Read about the efforts to stop this eminent domain here:

If you'd like to e-mail your Colorado representatives, such as they are, you can do that from here.  (And it seems that we may be doing some good as some of my daily e-mails are bouncing back as undeliverable due to the recipient's mailbox being full.)

• If you'd like to e-mail the Senate transportation committee and Governor Owens about HR 05-1030, click here.
• If you'd like to e-mail everyone in the House and Senate simultaneously, including Governor Owens, click here.
• If you'd like to have something to print and give your neighbors, hand out at church, etc., download this.  It's a .zip file that has two Microsoft Word documents in it about the toll road.
• If you'd like to e-mail Ray Wells and Representative Jim Sullivan, the bill's sponsor and a good friend of Ray Wells, click here.  (Jim Sullivan is a representative from Douglas County, the fastest growing county in Colorado, so you may understand why he'd want to export their rampant pollution to the East.)
• If you'd like to e-mail Debbie Stafford, State Representative from Elbert County who voted in favor of the bill without even knowing what it was, click here.  (Ms. Stafford: please stop helping us.)

If you'd like to use your e-mail program, take the following e-mail addresses, cut and paste them into your e-mail's TO field.  (Hint: right-click and choose "Select All", then right-click again and choose "Copy")

Note: The ones without e-mail addresses I tried to guess at and the e-mails got bounced.  I guess the representatives are either too ignorant to have e-mail or too cowardly to make their e-mail address available.  If you know the missing e-mail addresses, let me know (see the sub-pages below for who's missing).
